In this project, Julieta Maria, of Palestinian descent, and Lisa Ross-Rizikov, of Jewish descent, work with their family pictures to create new photographs using digital modification of the images. They mix their family pictures creating arbitrary groupings, evocations of friendships that never took place. They reformulate the past, the site of memory, while they reorganize its images.
